Mark Case’s greatest joy is fatherhood. His oldest son, Shepherd, was born in 1993. Andrew followed soon after in 1994, and his youngest son, Sam, was born in 2000. Helping with their homework, being involved in their activities, and encouraging them to follow their dreams has always been Mark’s highest priority.

Losing 15-year-old Shep to suicide in 2009 was an experience that dramatically impacted Marks’ life. Whether dealing with the evidence of grief in his own life or in the lives of his two younger sons, Mark has sought to find peace, understanding, and gratitude amid the spiritual and emotional struggles resulting from the loss.
